Diwali happiness!

Hey friends :)

Diwali is near and I'm very happy as I had got a big diwali gift order for my hand-crafted sling tote bags!

It has been a pre-order from a lady who is a birder and wanted eco-friendly bags to gift her folks in this beautiful occasion. She found me from Facebook. :)

It took me around a month to work on this huge order and I worked really hard towards it. A happy customer is all I want! Sharing some pictures from my work!!

I have had some good time in January... wildlife trip outs, beach hangouts and attending wedding parties :-D

Sharing what I wore at a school friend's wedding. Got dressed in a Kerala Set-saree (got from Kerala itself). Mostly I wear hand-loom sarees only; simply love the elegance it gives.

For a day wedding, kept the look simple.

September Birthday Bash !!

September ended and so did my special day! 

28th was my birthday and I had a beautiful day out!

First my Red dress!

My self-made red dress (will have a full post later) 

and an awesome lunch out with my dearest buddy.

Some per-ordered novels! Gift to myself from Flipkart. Total 9 new novels! cool

Essentials for my wildlife trips and rides.

A gifted unisex jacket that I wanted since long and a shopped men's tee for utility purpose.

A beautiful gifted ceramic pot which I painted of birds! Isn't looking wow! It goes on my book shelf.

A personalized card and carnations I loved. I'm used to these traditional gifts <3

A pretty earring from my friend and a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l sketch of me by my nephew!! Ohhh WOW

 AND

A family evening full of good food, laughter, late night gossips, get-together and the feeling of being loved and blessed by my dear ones ! Some folks were missed too :(

What do I need more?

Life has been good since my last left job and birthday! Have learned a lot, traveled & explored, experienced new things, met new people, extended hobbies, solidified craft work, serious-ed photography work, lazed a lot, worked too and overall had a good time :-)

'A September Girl's' Birthday

Hey friends, it was my birthday alright ! 

September is my favorite month because of that. It's special to me and my celebration to enjoy my beautiful life on earth. Taking wishes from my family and friends, I set new goals for me.

I left my job in September because I wanted my life's changes before it. Now things are so different. Differently free and full of excitement and hopes.

The day was soothing and nice. Lunch at home, Pizza treat with my best buddy, again a pizza treat at home, cake cutting and then I went to my ex-office annual party. They were very warm towards me and I met my lovely friends there. My sister had to go outstation and that was the sad part.

A self created thing is a must for my birthday. So here it is... a tote bag! the idea was to have a Eco-frienly gift and the inspiration was a big cormorant's feather.

My close friends from office gifted my this. Isn't wonderful ;)

Fun at Office!

If you're following me, you'd know that I'm leaving my job soon for some good. Resignation and Knowledge Transferring tasks are going on AND meanwhile I'm serving my notice period here, we had some AWESOME fun at office.

An add-on to the things I'd miss and always remember of my Office. :-)

Indian Independence Day was celebrated with a theme of dressing up as per different states of the country. We were given Maharashtra and I was happy to get a distinctive state where the culture and outfits are so prominent, colorful and vibrant.

I must say that I'm never never afraid to wear Indian wear. ;)

I didn't invest much on what I wore but just got dressed in what I already had. By the way the nose ring i.e. the typical marathi nath I'm wearing has been DIYed. :P

Its Christmas time and new year and I'm posting diwali :( But I was so busy these days that I got this late about my Diwali happenings :(  Still I wanted to share it with you my frens :)
