Diwali celebration :)

Hey friends, 

Hope my Diwali loving friends had a good Diwali. Mine went in decorating my home in somewhat traditional ways and having a good time with family. No crackers for the sake of nature and already existing pollution in our country. Our dogs get scared from firecracker bursting noise. :(

Sweets for you!

Besides April Fool's day, it's my Indian State's birthday! i.e. Odisha :-) It's called 'Utkal Divas'. 

Proud to be from the place I belong to! :-)

Meanwhile once upon a time I had made these Kaju Katli or Kaju barfi or Cashew Fudge. One of the most loved sweets of India which can be easily made. Thought of sharing them today. Find the best recipe here: How to make Kaju Katli! I love this website, you'll get many good Indian recipes.

 

 

Only mistake I did was, I didn't cut it from a smooth edged knife :D You do it please :) nevertheless it was yum!

Curtain Makeovers!

I love using my old fabrics into something useful. 

While the wearable ones went to donation, others were turned into pretty curtains! :-) 

They brightened my otherwise dull places. Very summary and breezy!
